More Cob Work Done; Ready For Strawbales!!

While I was gone, Joni was able to do some more Cob work:


From the outside of the house, looking in:

Joni was also able to bring this wall up to the level that we want to: 1. put a window in; 2. start stacking strawbales:

The Strawbales will sit right on top of these nails that are sunk into the Cob.

With the weather looking good for the next week (it is 70 degrees here today and sunny) with no rain in the forecast--we shall finally start getting a wall up! We also plan on building more Stem Wall. Work will start on Friday...
