Carrying on the Tradition...Benziger Winery...

Just outside the gates of Jack London State Park, where Jack conducted his organic experiments, lies Benziger Winery. The good folks there continue the tradition of sustainable agriculture.

They grow their grapes in Biodynamic Fashion. It's sort of a Organic-Farm-meets-Pagan-Ritual sort of place. Very Californian. They bury Steer Horns full of poop on the equinoxes. They use beneficial bugs. I've toured the place.

The Wine is award winning...and worth supporting!! Jack London would be proud!
