Stripping Bark...

Duane had a good time yesterday. He grew up in a very urban area. He hasn't spent much time in the boonies, and was quite impressed with the area. And he loves stripping bark off of logs! Good thing. Turns out we need quite a few more logs stripped. Stripping bark off of logs is an onerous task. Hard on the back. Hard on the arms. Easiest if you strip the bark right after you fell the tree. Luckily, a neighbor had to take a couple of trees down two days ago, and gave us the trees.

After awhile he was zipping along, shedding bark like an old pro!
