Napa Bothe Camping; Stellar Jays!

I don't know if you've ever had the experience of moving a three bedroom, two bath place (also with a garage not filled with autos, but rather items of consumerist America) into a 320 square foot cabin. Suffice it to say, we left our stuff in two large piles and traveled back to the Napa Valley for a few days of camping. The girls had several items entered into the County Fair (lots of blue ribbons)...and the fireworks display is quite awesome.

Our campsite. Tis important to bring Prayer Flags along!

A photo of me doing what I do best....

I snapped a couple photos of the Stellar Jays which raid most woodland campsites through out the west. My favorite bird; they are crafty, sneaky, weaselly, bold, brazen, with thievery and cunning as attributes.

Meanwhile our stuff was in the piles back at the Homestead. We planned on returning on July 6...which we did. We had high hopes of getting started on this new, rural, tranquil and relaxing life!
