Last night I commandeered the television. "No!" the girls said.

"Yes", I said. "It's the American League Championship Baseball Series!"

"Hannah Montana!", the girls exclaimed.. "Baseball is boring! We'd rather watch Rachel Ray, CSI, The Food Network! Anything but baseball!"

Then the trump card: "Who pays for the Satellite?" I said. Then I launched into the beauty of the game. What a submarine pitcher is. A wild pitch. How to pick off a runner at First Base. What an inning is.
