Hummingbird Rescue...

Just now, a Hummingbird flew into the cabin. Despite the door being open, he tried to leave vis a vie the window. He flew and flew. Chirped. He flew until he became exhausted. Heartbreaking.

I picked him up and he hung on to my fingers. I clicked a couple of photos as I carried him to the deck.

A helping hand...

He still couldn't get out of the netting. There is one open door to the outside of the deck. So I reluctantly picked him up again...and released him.

He flew away! Hopefully, all is well.

Joni tells me that Hummingbirds indicate Joy! They bring a message of joy. That's what I felt when he flew away...
