The Art of Bracing....
Building with logs from your own property (and without the ease of dimensional lumber) presents some very significant problems--since all the wood is different dimensions, putting it all together gives an irregular regularity; restrained chaos. It also provides for some significant beauty! We have braced most of the corners. They are like works of art; simple, elegant and functional.
